The Best place for Donuts in Budapest

Mr. Funk is a donut and bagel shop located on Arany János street in Budapest. They sell only 10 different bagels, but you can't even

begin to count the different types of donuts! From traditional glaze to even unicorn donuts, there are lots of different types for you to pick from. The atmosphere there is amazing! Mr. Funk there rules a pastel theme, everything is colourful and you feel like you are stuck in a rainbow donut. Of course, if that wasn't enough they also sell freak shakes! Freak Shakes are awesome milkshakes with donuts and other goodies!

Little town of Szentendre

Szentendre is a cute little riverside town near the capital-Budapest. It's perfect for a one-day family/friend's trip. It is in a very attractive location for tourists, because of its beautiful panoramas and baroque architecture. Visiting Szentendre' arrow streets and colourful houses makes you feel like you're in a fairy-tale.

We were warmly greeted by a vibrant market by the river. As we were passing by people reached out to us with lemonades and various flavours of cotton candy, local foods, handmade crafts and of course the Hungarian speciality-paprika. Out of all the options, I decided to have cotton candy. What flavour do you ask? Watermelon of course.

Since Szentendre is located right next to the Danube river, my family and I decided to have a picnic and relax at the beach. After that, we ate some lovely ham and cucumber sandwiches, my sister and I decided to feed the ducks that were splashing around in the river. Usually, we would feed them with bread from our picnic basket but this time we fed them with food from a special duck food dispenser on the beach. Guess were not the only ones who like to feed ducks! We inserted a coin, climbed on a rock and started feeding the ducks. My family and I will always remember our trip to Szentendre.
