A PTA Perfect Picnic
On Saturday16th September, the school PTA held a picnic/fun day in the BISB grounds for students and family, including ice cream, egg spoon game, bean bag racing, bubble-blowing and sumo-wrestling in which plenty of students and family participated.
Buda Juniors (a football club) were invited to entertain and play with the young footballers and had everyone who loved the sport, wanted to play or just liked enjoying a good game of football, on the pitch playing with them.
The sumo-wrestling was a real bonus; it had students gathering around, laughing their heads off at the fantastic fails of the onstage wrestlers. Another game, the egg and spoon race, had mothers and fathers, boys and girls racing each other to try win the title of fastest spoon-egg racer. Hopefully not dropping their eggs!
Bubble blowing definitely got the young students praying to get their parents to let them have a try. Large, if not HUMONGOUS bubbles were flying through the air as students and parents used the sticks and string to create bubbles larger than you could ever imagine.
All in all it was a great few hours, full of fun and good food. Thank you very much to the PTA for organising it. What an awesome success!
