#bekindtoelephants
Ellen Degeneres, host of the Ellen Show, has started a hashtag, #bekindtoelephants, on account of Donald Trump’s lift on Barack Obama’s ban on bring animal trophies into the united states from any wildlife center. Trump has also allowed his two sons to go hunting and kill animals themselves. Here, one of Trump’s sons has killed an elephant and cut its tail off to bring back to the U.S .
Memes are going around, such as “look dad, I have the ponytail you have always wanted.” and pictures such as:
These have boosted the popularity of Ellen Degeneres’s hashtag.
Since Monday afternoon, 20th of November, Donald Trump has delayed the lifting of the ban because of public pressure, but he will continue to try and lift this ban.
Students from our school have already participated in helping this movement, but it is not over.
Elephants have done nothing to anyone in this school except to give hope and inspiration, nothing like killing humans and dragging their heads and limbs around the place (especially as they don’t live in one place, they migrate. Guess why). If you wish to help save these animals, please support the #bekindtoelephants movement. The only thing you will be doing, is saving innocent lives.

And save lives.

This means so much to so many people, and as Ellen says, “Elephants show compassion, sympathy, social intelligence, self awareness, they are excellent learners. All things I have yet to see in this president.” - Ellen Degeneres
