Harry Potter Recipes

Are you a big Potterhead? Are you looking for something to do while waiting for your letter? If you answer yes to all those questions, then you should try these three magical recipes. Super easy and tasty!

Number One: Butterbeer

Remember the time when Harry first tried butterbeer? That just made me want to grab some Floo powder and teleport to the Three Broomsticks. But you don’t have to, because you can just make these at home.

You’ll need:

·8 oz of club/cream soda

·4 oz of butterscotch (ice cream topping)

·1/2 tablespoon of butter

·(optional) whipped cream

Steps:

  1. Measure the butterscotch and butter into a 16 oz glass. Microwave on high until the syrup is bubbly and the butter has completely melted.

  2. Stir and cool for 30 seconds, then slowly pour in the club soda. The mixture will fizz quite a bit.

  3. (optional) put on whipped cream.

  4. Enjoy!

Number Two: Polyjuice potion punch

Ever wanted to turn into someone else? Use this recipe! But you have to make sure beforehand that the thing you’re turning into isn’t a cat…

You’ll need:

·1/2 a gallon of Lime Sherbet

·2 liters of Sprite

·Neon green food coloring

Steps:

  1. First, place the lime sherbet into your glass.

  2. Then, slowly pour the sprite into the glass.

  3. Lastly, add a few drops of neon green food coloring.

  4. Enjoy!

Number Three: Sorting Hat Cookies

Sorting hat cookies are delicious cookies for a perfect, magical afternoon. They also double as a hat to sort you into a house.

You’ll need:

·Chocolate cookies

·Sugar cones (or ice cream cones)

·Multicolored candy

·Melted chocolate/chocolate frosting

Steps:

  1. Separate your candies into different piles (blue, yellow, green and red).

  2. Sort your candies, one color in one cone, into the sugar cones.

  3. Then, put some frosting/melted chocolate around the bottom of your cone.

  4. Put the cookie onto the bottom of your cone and wait until secured.

  5. Enjoy!
