Trials of Apollo

Trials of Apollo is a thrilling story of Greek mythology! When the god Apollo falls to our world as a mortal- this story is a classic with a modern twist to it. If you like Magnus Chase or Percy Jackson, you will probably like this.

Warriors

The series follows the adventures of five groups of cats, called Clans — Thunder Clan, Wind Clan, River Clan, ShadowClan, and Star Clan — in their forest. Star clan is a place where all cats go when they die. The Clan leaders have 9 lives after they are blessed by Star Clan. If you like cats, you would probably like these books. These are recommended by Calliope.

Cinder

Cinder is a cyborg that has a mysterious past and is blamed for her sister’s illness. She is hated by her stepmother and is a second-class citizen. This a very exiting retelling of Cinderella in the distant future. Recommended by Ms. Scaramella.

Lord of the Flies

Lord of the Flies is a story when a group of boys are left stranded on a deserted island without adult supervision. They soon form their own civilization which quickly ends in chaos and destruction. Recommended by Ms. Sudlow.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

This is the third book in the Harry Potter series. It is about Harry Potter, a young wizard, in his third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This is a favourite because in this book, a shocking secret is revealed! This was recommended by Susie.
