An Interview with an Inspector

Flora and Alex, journalists with the student magazine Muse, managed to ambush one of the school inspectors during the ISI inspection week for a quick interview. Flora has written the interview up for us below:

Harry FitzHerbert is a teacher and inspector who has been inspecting schools all around the word for seven years now. He first started working as an inspector when an opportunity came up to go to one in Kyran. He initially signed up for the experience of seeing Kyran for the first and probably last time in his life. After an unfortunate turn of events when his Kyran trip was canceled, he got stuck in a small town motel inspecting a whole other school. Despite not getting to see Kyran, he actually ended up quite liking the inspection job itself, and decided to pursue this as a additional opportunity.

We were lucky enough to catch up with him and ask him a few questions about his career; here are some of his answers...

When we asked him about the schools he has visited what makes a good school, he answered with putting children and their outcomes first. Another thing we managed to learn is that in his school he teaches Spanish and is a Head Dean. Overall he has a very interesting life and we are grateful to learn about it.
